Insights scoring
We’re excited to introduce Insight Scoring — a powerful enhancement that gives product teams more control over how feedback contributes to opportunity scores.
With Insight Scoring, you can now differentiate the impact of individual feedback items based on custom field values, allowing for more accurate, signal-driven prioritization.
Why this matters Not all feedback is created equal. Insight Scoring lets you:
Give more weight to feedback from Tier 1 customers or strategic accounts.
Quickly identify which feedback items are linked to high-value deals by surfacing the sum of deal values across insights.
Get clearer guidance on where to focus your efforts by surfacing the most valuable opportunities automatically.
At airfocus, we use this internally to spot the feedback that’s most likely to move the needle on ARR — and it's already helping us cut through the noise.
How it works Insight Scoring uses a custom formula field on feedback items to influence the insight score (not just the feedback item’s score). That means:
Each insight within a feedback item gets the same score boost — based on the feedback’s custom fields.
This differs from future enhancements where we plan to weight individual insights independently (coming soon).
Currently, values are absolute, not normalized. Think of this as an "Advanced" feature that's still easy to use — especially if you're familiar with the Prioritization app formulas.
Note: Multi-select fields currently use an average rather than summing individual values. We’re aware this limits flexibility in some use cases, and a solution is already in the works. Stay tuned!
